This therapeutic technique is primarily used to help individuals of all ages with moderate to severe motor speech impairments establish and maintain spoken words and phrases. It is also used to improve the cognitive-linguist, social-emotional, and motor speech characteristics of children and adults with a wide variety of disorders; including autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, brain injuries, down syndrome, apraxia, and dysarthria.
